Mistakes are more interesting than intentions. I consider my process to be a management of errors.

 

I allow the process to do the work by finding new forms, applications and effects so that the resulting image is the product of continual editing, collecting and combining. I work to amass an ever-increasing collection of techniques and strive to remove evidence of my own hand in the art. Sometime I allow gravity to do the work rather than the brush. The images themselves are organic and amorphic and are not intended to represent anything concrete although, ultimately, that decision is left to the viewer and not to me.

Whenever possible, I used recycled materials - paint, fabric, wood, used dropcloths - as a matter of thrift and sustainability.
